From rooms to islands

I worked on the move from rooms to islands and made 3D environment models. This development capture shows the island setting.

A character with a clear visual identity

I made the player model and contributed to the game’s visual aesthetic. This material review shows colour variants and the face in detail.

Other props

Cartoon physics turn one collision into more movement across the island.

Playing with the island

Dodge This is a co-op roguelike I’m developing with Quentin (Splizard). Players are props, and objects across the islands become dodgeball-like weapons. Knocking one thing into another makes the environment part of the action.

My contribution

I made 3D environment models and the player model, and worked on the game’s move from rooms to islands. My contributions also include interactive crates, the UI and the visual aesthetic.

Testing together

We test the interactions, combat and pacing together. Group playtests have helped surface bugs and ideas for changes, showing us how the physics behaves when people start experimenting.

Collaboration

Built using graphics.gd, Quentin Quaadgras’s Go + Godot runtime. The game is still in development.
